“I got fed, I got looked after. I felt part of something. I felt included.” Neil.

They’ve done for me what I couldn’t do for myself – I got fed, I got looked after, I got asked about my welfare. I felt part of something – I felt included. I couldn’t get through the day without knowing that I had somewhere to go at night.

My world at that time was so small and my addiction had taken over that much that having somewhere safe and supportive to go was everything to me and for that I am so grateful. Things now are so different, but if it hadn’t been for the comfort I found in those first three months, I wouldn’t be where I am today.

Fear controlled me. I now can face those fears that I ran away from for years. I’m now living life on life’s terms, it isn’t easy, but it’s definitely do-able. I’m proof sat here. Today life is good
